Thrill Jockey join with Gaga

Gaga is thrilled to announce the signing of Thrill Jockey to the Master stable. Thrill Jockey is, quite simply, one of the finest independent record labels in the world. Founded in 1992 by Bettina Richards, the Chicago-based label has been artist-oriented since the beginning, while, at the same time, always giving listeners the chance to really engage with the music it releases. (Thrill Jockey allows their entire catalogue to be streamed online, in the knowledge that listeners need to hear records before they'll buy them.) The label is a model of how to combine musical idealism with smart small business practice.
Thrill Jockey's incredibly diverse catalogue includes many of the finest independent and experimental artists of the last two decades: Tortoise, The Sea and Cake, Mouse on Mars, Tom Verlaine, Eleventh Dream Day, Califone, Howe Gelb/Giant Sand, Oval, The Fiery Furnaces, and Boredoms, to name a few. We're very happy to have them on board.
